Booking & Check-In
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check In: 3:00pm // Check Out: 12:00pm
If you will be arriving after 8:00pm, please call us in advance to make special arrangements.
Is a deposit required to book a room?
No deposit is required.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
There is no cancellation penalty.
Is there a minimum length of stay?
We do not have a minimum length stay. However, we do encourage visitors to take advantage of our "stay two nights and the third night is free" promotion. Enter BONUSNIGHT in the promotion code section to receive your free night.
How many guests can a room accommodate?
Most rooms comfortably sleep two. Our largest room, the Suite Ste. Genevieve, has a king bed plus a pull-out queen sofa and can sleep up to four. Each room's page lists its exact sleeping capacity.
Do you offer discounts for longer stays or off-season visits?
Yes — check our Specials & Packages page for current offers, as these change seasonally.
Is there an age requirement to book?
Visitors must be 21 to book. Children 14 and over, accompanied by parent, are welcome.
Pets
Are pets allowed?
Our Rendezvous Room, located on the first floor with private side-entry, is our only dog friendly room at the Inn. A $50 cleaning fee may be applied. Please note dogs are not allowed in the dining area or the main floor parlors.

A $50 cleaning fee may be applied.
Do you accommodate service animals in all rooms?
Yes — service animals are always welcome throughout the Inn regardless of a room's pet policy.
Rooms & Amenities
Do all rooms have private bathrooms?
Yes, every room has its own private en-suite bathroom.
Is WiFi available?
Yes, complimentary high-speed WiFi is available in every room.
Do any rooms have a Jacuzzi or fireplace?
Yes — several rooms feature a Jacuzzi tub and/or a gas fireplace. Check each room's individual page for its specific features.
Is parking available on-site?
Yes - onsite street parking is available.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking and tobacco products not allowed inside the Inn. Smoking is allowed in the back garden area only. Please note, an additional $300 cleaning charge will be assessed if guests smoke or use tobacco products in the Inn.
Breakfast & Evening Reception
Is breakfast included with my stay?
Yes — a full, made-from-scratch breakfast featuring local ingredients is served each morning and included with every room.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
We will do our best to accommodate any dietary restrictions our guests may have.
What is the evening wine and cheese reception?
Each evening we host a complimentary wine and cheese reception, a relaxed chance to unwind and swap stories with fellow guests.

221 N Main Street, Ste. Genevieve, MO 63670 — in the heart of the historic downtown district.
What's nearby?
The Inn is within walking distance of Ste. Genevieve's historic sites, restaurants, art galleries, antique shopping, and Saint Genevieve National Historical Park. Ste. Genevieve is recognized as Missouri's oldest permanent settlement, founded in 1735 by French colonists.

About the Inn
What's the history of the building?
The Main Street Inn occupies a beautifully preserved 19th-century building in downtown Ste. Genevieve. Current owners Patrick and Susan purchased and fully renovated the property in 2016, preserving its historic character while adding modern comforts.
Who runs the Inn?
Innkeepers Patrick and Susan, along with Barney, the Inn's resident dog and unofficial hospitality manager.
Are you connected to other businesses in town?
Yes — the Main Street Inn is part of a family of local businesses that also includes the Ste. Genevieve Antique Mall (home to PJ's Bar & Coffee) and the Ste. Genevieve RV Park.
